These motorcycle's are user-friendly, practical, fun and quick without being intimidating which is why they sell so well. They can cope with being thrown round a race track but won't set any lap records thanks to limited ground clearance and easy-to-use detuned engines. Motorcycle's like the Fazer 600 and Hornet offer near-sportsbike performance. Suzuki GS500's and Honda CB500's are less exciting but give complete reliability. Low to medium cost insurance.

| Should I Buy One? They're light, friendly, simple to ride and relatively cheap to insure. Excellent and practical to new riders or those who aren't bothered about following the sportsbike crowd. Not the best for huge distances, but great all-rounders. |
